Phones

• Battery health — check it in settings; anything above 85% is healthy.
• Screen — look for dead pixels, burn-in and touch dead zones.
• IMEI — verify the phone is not blacklisted or locked.

Laptops

Power it on and run it for a few minutes. Watch for fan noise, check every port, and inspect the hinge and keyboard for wear. Ask about the battery cycle count if you can.

Cameras

Check the shutter count, inspect the sensor for dust, and test autofocus across a few lenses. Ask to see sample shots taken on the spot.
